I have my TB by-passed, but the steam pipe looks that is useless now, why i have to keep it. Any problem if i remove it?

Re: steam pipe???

if you do a search you will find quite a bit of info on the subject. most say that it is pretty important and to keep it, but there are also several people running without them and have not had any problems.

The steam pipe is not useless. It helps to remove steam pockets from the heads. It is there because of the reverse cooling system.

And, to add to what Rob said, doing the TB bypass, if done correctly, does not eliminate the function of the steam tube. The return hose from the rear of the heads should now be connected to the line that used to return the coolant from the TB to the right-hand tank of the radiator.
