Starting Trouble

Hey Everyone,

I've been having this problem with my 95 Z for quite some time now but has never really been bad till the other day. When starting the car it has to turn over a few times before fireing. Every now and then it wont start and will have to sit for an hour or so before trying again, and then it will start, kinda like it was flooded. The other day though it wouldnt start. Took me all day to get it going and by the end i was shooting fuel injection cleaner in the TB to get it to fire. If i put the intake back on and reconnect everything it has a hard time or wont start. Im thinking it's the Injectors, but wanted to check in first before i start ordering. This is like my "daily" driver car, very few mods, but is really only driven once or twice a week. Thanks for any thoughts or help.

Re: Starting Trouble

Check the fuel pressure when you have the problem again.

Re: Starting Trouble

I would see if you hear the pump prime when you turn the key on. I thought some of the cars would not even crank unless you had so much fuel pressure to start with.
