How old is the battery? Don't assume that because you may have had it on a charger for sometime, that it's good. Have you load tested it lately? Check the voltage accross the battery before you try to start it and during cranking the starter. Obviously you will need help with that.

If the voltage is less than 11 volts when you crank the engine, you will need a new battery. Check the ground at the frame and the engine for cleanliness.

Once you have a KNOWN good battery installed, with the engine running, you should read well over 13 volts across the battery. This will indicate the alternator is working properly.

if your battery is good, its probably your ignition cylinder. its no longer reading your key which causes this no start condition. I had to replace mine about a month ago. COmes with 2 nice new shiny keys also

good luck
