My Car Sometimes Makes Popping Noises When It Is Cranking. When It Does This The Car Has To Sit For A While Or I Have To Reset The Comp. To Get It To Start. When It Does Start It Doesn't Idle Very Long. The Idle Seems Great But Dies After A Few Seconds. When It Starts To Die Pressing The Pedal Has No Effect On The Idle.
I Have A New Opti(dealership) And Icm(autozone ) The Motor Has Just Been Rebuilt. The Car Would Idle Fine Until I Had Someone Double Check My Valve Lash(i Don't Think Valve Lash Is Related To Problem Because The Idle Is Good For A While And It Doesn't Slow Crank Or Anything.
