My Z has begun to have intermitten problems staring and idling. It started out as once every few weeks but is now an almost every time thing. The car wil start, then immediately die. When you restart it, it starts right up. The idling problem is still only occasional, with that being that it idles weak for a while then cuts off. You have to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running. I was thinking fuel filter or opti, but honestly don't have a clue. Any help and insight is greatly appreciated.

 

sounds like a fuel problem. change the fuel filter and see if that helps,Mine did the exact same thing but it turned out to be a fuel pump going bad

 

Yea definitly change your fuel filter, and test your fuel presure at the shrader valve. If thats not it, could it be a dirty or bad IAC?
