Starting & Hesitation When Warmed Up
Starting & Hesitation When Warmed Up
Hello all. So I did a search on my issue and read many posts with similiar issues or conflicting suggestions.
My issue has just popped up and I have trouble starting the car after its already warmed up (i.e. drive to a store, 30min later, still warm car and try to start). It will turn over and fire up but then immediately die, or if it does run, it hesitates really bad for the first 5min of driving then returns to normal.
No issues starting when cold or leaving it for a couple hours. No codes being set. Nothing appears to be loose, disconnected, or vac lines broken.
97 M6 Formula 126k miles
Opti, plugs, wires have about 40k miles
Water pump and pump coolant temp sensor 40k
My only initial guess is the coolant temp sensor in the pump is bad (since that happened before and car wouldn't re-start when hot), or I simply got bad gas since it began after a fill-up?
I doubt its either of those issues really so looking for some help or suggestions where to begin. Thanks.
