Starting 230/236 without tune?
has anyone else fired up their cars with a 230/236 without a tune??? I finally finished my car, got it running, and it barely wants to run. Real choppy idle. Again, i haven't tuned my puter yet...but i was just wondering how everyone elses car ran without a tune. I also dont have rear 02's, A.I.R or EGR, so i bet that threw my computer a curveball.
I am soo flippin happy right now, you have no idea. Oil pressure jumped up right away, and no real lifter clatter to speak of..woo!!

Yeah I tried to run to run mine with no tune and it hardley ran. Once I got going it was great, it was when I had to stop when it had a problem. Everytime at a light or stop sign it would die. Very embarrasing I might add. But got tuned up and no more problems
I have a Comp 233/239 cam that will be fired up today (hopefully) without a tune. I suspect it will idle like sh*t and die every time I try to slow down. I'll let you know. I don't think you'll hurt the motor running it untuned unless you run it up in the RPM range too high. Your cam will probably max out the stock injectors without much trouble, especially if you've done anything else to the car (exhaust, heads, etc).
