Starter Relay, Pass Key Bypass

Ok, i'm not going to have the factory computer i'm going with a BS3. I wanna know if I can bypass the Pass key module and the starter relay. Can I just run the yellow wire that runs from the ignition switch to the starter soleniod to crank the starter? So since i'll have the BS3 then no vats, meaning I don't have to worry about the Pass Key. But is the starter relay worth having? Thanks

ok, if you leave the relay in place, and ground the yellow/black stripe wire, the neutral safety switch will still be functional

Awesome, thanks for the help. I might be asking you which one is the yellow with the black stripe. I guess I should have said that the car i'm working on is a 93, and all of the wires are Yellow if i'm not mistaken, the 3 big ones and the little one. Thanks though.

Thanks, I didn't see the black stripe on the little one, the stripe was hiding to the inside. So all i have to do is to yank out the Pass Key II system and the wires, ground the little yellow wire with the black stripe and she'll start. Sounds like a good deal to me. Thanks Dave!!
