Starter gone?

Well it finally happened, I had thought it would too. I was walking out to my car at school today, got in, turned the key, heard the fuel pump and all, etc. Battery works, alternator works everything is fine. I turn the key and I just hear a click from the center console area under the car. Starter is gone, am I right? Just need confirmation that's all.

Re: Starter gone?

Oh btw the battery is fine (4 months old), gauge shows 13.5 volts, and this is the first time it's ever done this.

Re: Starter gone?

It's the smaller cylinder on top of the starter that the wires are attatched to. Yeah, kinda hard to get to with the car on its tires in the snow.
