Starter Fitment with LTs...

I know this has been covered, but I thought some would like to know that the LT4 style and the Powermaster XS 9502 will fit LT1s with Kooks LTs and a stock oil pan...I just installed the Powermaster XS 9502 in place of my LT4. Nothing was wrong with the LT4 I just worked out a deal with a friend for the Powermaster...Anyway, just thought I'd post the info..It seems to come up alot...

RETRACTION!!! I should've driven the car before posting, sorry...When in gear and the rpms drop a little, the starter gear actually makes contact with the flexplate and makes a horrible noise...neither taking off the flexplate cover nor shimming fixed the problem...Maybe its just my car...I'm back with my trusty LT4...sorry to all, thats my luck with the aftermarket...
