Been having a re-occuring issue with the car lately. It's seems to be growing more common as well, as if something is "bad" and getting worse with time (~ 1 month since the first sign). Basically the car will only start with the first turn of the key about 50% of the time. If it doesn't start up, it doesn't even try to turn the engine over. There's a whining noise (electrical stuff I believe) and then nothing. When the car does fire up, it turns over a few times (~ 2 seconds, nothing major) and idles fine. I've had to try as many as 5 times to get the car fired up and the last thing I want to do is get stranded somewhere. Could this be my amp draining power from the battery while the car isn't on, causing it to not have enough juice to start? Or is it my starter? Any advice would be great, and if you need more info let me know.
