Best tires for stock tire size?

I have Kumho's fitted on my stock 16" Z28 rims. What's the best tire (street legal) that I can put on my car for straight-line driving?

Skinny tires in the front
Fat tires in the back

But if you are keeping the stock wheels, just go with some 255's in the back, maybe some 245's in the front.
