You could delete the A/C as well, that will shed some pounds.

your not pulling the whole motor just to LT's on are you?

Thier is a ton of stuff you can get rid of, ABS stuf, A/C, EGR, Air, you could even go carbed and get rid of almost all the wires ... How much do you want to get rid of/spend? Are you trying to make a track only car?

air pump, air pump bracket, egr valve, abs block, a/c compressor, a/c canister, a/c condensor, power steering (for the really hard core), cruise control computer, front bumper support if you really wanted to, front sway bar,

that's all i can think of right now

Air pump, egr, ac and all supporting pipes. re-routed spark plug wires.
and if you have ABS and wanna clean it up even more, remove that aswell.

Then, there's fuel supply lines to the back of the rails, no IC Module, no wires to the Opti, no MAF, no cruise cable, and no dirt.... ........

Last thing i dumped was the ABS, i was missing the speed ring on the carrier anyways. The big things that i noticed that helped was dumping the AC, the AIR pump then the ABS.. EGR and other emission goodies are gone but didn't clean things up as well as others.

I also removed the horn (intercooler piping), relocated the cruise control, removed and re-did some wiring.

Guess i need to learn when to stop

#1, you've obviously never had to mess around with a 70s/80s vehicle have you? You have no idea.

#2, try throwing the motor into something different, you get to learn every single wire in the wiring harness, coolant flow, etc. I love em!!

I personally wouldn't remove the ABS, A/C, or power steering. For the small amount of weight you save, you gain a lot more frustration w/ custom pieces and no creature comforts. I wouldn't touch the safety items either. Removing the ABS is just about equal to taking the seat belts out. It also helps resale value to know everything hasn't been jury rigged or focked with.

Good luck!
