Stalling problem

I never thought anything of it due to the cam, but lately it has been occurring way too many times.

My car is a 95TA A4 with a Ligenfelter 219/219 cam ported heads, intake etc etc.

Everytime I give a little gas (tap the gas pedal) and then let off as in reversing, or moving a tad forward , the rpm's shoot up but them stumble down to as low as 300-400rpm which results in the car stalling.

I checked the inside of my 58mm throttle body and the plates are clean on the outside, but inside I did see carbon buildup. Also, even with a new fuel filter this is still occurring? cam surge? but it wasn't this bad before in terms of the number of times car has stalled. Though I do see that my idle is low when the car is cold as it is about 500-550rpm, then after a minute or two it revs at 600-625 rpm @ idle.

I am having the car tuned Thursday, and hopefully when they bump up my idle it will solve the problem?

Anyone have this problem before?

Thanks

Yeah the IAC could be dirty, it's easy enough to try to clean. Getting the pcm tuned to the cam wouldnt hurt either though.
