I really dont want to spend $500 on gears when a 12 bolt is $2k and I figure i will need it in a year or so anyway.

I want to get a 3200 w/ 2.5 str stall and a set of 1.6 Pro Mags and springs. I am trying to keep it under $1k so it is the gears/stall or stall/RRs.

Current mods are in sig.

 

Stall. Do the rr if you plan on a cam swap before the 12 bolt. If no cam swap is planned, save the money for a 12bolt.

Ya, I want to do a CC306 swap now but without the stall I hear it is pretty useless. So I figure winter will definitely be the cam/self ported heads and hopefully the 12 bolt. I already have the ET streets and LCAs, SFCs to go on so I know I will be testing the rear soon enough.
