Re: stall converter

Most people recommend a 2800 to 3600 stall for LE1 heads and cam package
2200 is way to small ...............

Re: stall converter

Ok well then what's a good recommended converter? Swapped out to the cc503 instead of the hot cam!

Re: stall converter

I would go with either a 9" Edge or Yank 3600. 2200 is hardly better than stock.

Re: stall converter

Off the top of my head no, but it's a great time to call either one of those manufacturers and discuss your application with them. They'll want to discuss things like OD, STR, etc. - all stuff that would be helpful for your own knowledge. Don't just buy - learn.

Take your pick......I'd recommend a 3000 to 3600 stall TC with your set-up.
