I have an edge in a 4L60E in a land yacht weighing in at well over two tons.

I've hot lapped that car 10 times in a single day of testing, braking to over 3000rpm and the converter never loosened up, nor did I boil the fluid.
(Which is partially about good fluid, an external cooler and a deep pan, but a cheap converter can have a bigger impact because of slippage.)


By the way, let me give you a piece of advice. This is the SINGLE most important lesson I've learned several decades...


It is ALWAYS better to do it right the first time. Usually cheaper too.
