Stainless radiator hoses are the ****. I had em on mine and the looked great. as far as the fuel cooler, I don't really reccomend it, but i've never been one for additives, someone else could prolly give you an answer on it.

I See, Then I would say No, I don't think your running on the verge of detonation due to a hopped up engine. That's what it would be for.

The fuel cooler is not needed. Unless you want to start cutting fuel lines and routing hoses all for nothing

It may be advantageous for other vehicles in certain circumstances but it's really not needed on a street driven F-body.

Re: Stainless steel hoses for radiator

Can you post a link to what you are looking at? Most of the stainless steel hose kits I've seen for sale are nothing but "dress up" items. That is, they are a stainless steel braided cover that slides over your standard rubber hoses.

Re: Stainless steel hoses for radiator

heres a link

http://static.summitracing.com/globa...-fca1615_w.jpg

or look at summit for product AER-FCA0403

i was just wondering if you could use those for radiator hoses and according to summit it will work for most pluming things, and i like the way they look over the stock rubber hoses or even the blue hi miler goodyear ones...

and possibly if anyone knows of a kit of them or what sizes i would need to make my own kit

Re: Stainless steel hoses for radiator

Your looking at steel braided hose used for AN fittings. AN fittings are quite expensive to use on your cooling system due to the size. Plus the fact you would have to have AN fittings welded to the water pump and geta new radiator with An fittings on it.

Hoses are not high maintenance and high wear items. Spend your money in better places
