My old 94 did the exact same thing. I took the old bulb off of my stock spolier and spliced inline into the new wiring harness. It's hard to explain but I used both the LED and the stock bulb. I just tucked the stock bulb into the spoiler under the plastic cover. It tricked the car into think the stock spoiler was there. After that my abs inop light went off and my cruise control worked.
I know this is confusing but hopefully you can understand what I am trying to say.

Cool

You can also wire in a relay. That is what I did and it works prefectly.

I had to do this as well. Just run one of your old bulbs in series with the wiring harness, and tuck it underneath the plastic.

W/ the ABS inop light on, your cruise control won't work either.
PITA

Did you guys splice wire to wire or put the harness in between the two.I used the stock harness to wire in the LED brake light on my SS spoiler. No lights, and everything works fine.

Thumbs down

lol... and when the bulb wired in line burns out you the ABS inop again.

Get a 2k ohm resistor and wire it inline with the LEDs.

The reason the light comes on is because the system measures resistence in the circut to make sure the bulb is good. The LED lights have next to no resistence so the system gets a little confused. Install a 1/2 watt resistor and your problems will be gone for good. The relay idea is also good but the light bulb idea is a little out there.
