Squeaks and Rattles

Ok im just wandering I live in a small town with brick roads, and some paved roads. When im on brick roads my car squeaks and rattles really bad like hatch and it seems like its coming from all over the car lol..but once i get on the highway nothing, I was wandering if everyone elses cars like this on bricks or ruggid roads, or is alot of my bolts loose LOL and my car could fall apart...

Thanks... Its annoying listening to the squeaks and rattles, so I try to stay clear of rugid roads now.

Two recommendations from me...

1. Get subframe connectors
2. Get a strut tower brace (and a good thick one at that)

The above made a big differenceon my friends car with 100k miles. It rides rougher but squeeks less and rattles less...its a little rougher riding but that stiff ride doesn't bother me one bit.

Another vote for SFC they really help knock out some of the rattles. Just did mine last nite along with the Hotchkis bars too and big improvement, also like the way you can feel the front end lift as you take off.

A lot of squeeking in the rear is caused by the springs rubbing against their mounts. Some people put rubber hose around the portion of the spring that comes in contact with the mount.

95% of my squeeks are from those springs. I've been planning on doing this myself, but haven't gotten around to it so I can't comment on how well it works.

Something I did was sound deaden my car. It made the whole car feel more solid and all the little squeaks went away. Now I still have road noise, but it is not as noticeable.

Those are great tips,WD40 or triflow works for me,but rain will eventually wash it off the bushings.Jake
