Unhappy Squeaking Sound

I don't like this

Went out to day drove about 5mi to the Olive Garden and had lunch.
Went to the store and shut off teh car, went inside, came back out, started the car and....

Squeak and again, anain with the RPM of the motor
Sounds like the Passenger side head, but what ever it is is not good.

anyone have and idea what it might be???

I have been driving the car now for about 4 days, mostly highway and I like on ramps
and haven't heard anything till now and it's noticeable sound on the outside of the car.

It sounds more like a Lifter out of oil or a PushRod on the Guid Plate.

The last time I heard this sound I was 35 miles from home 2yrs ago, when I got home and loked at it the lifter froze in the bore and the cam beat the bottom of the roller part of the lifter.
That was when I buildt the 383stroker!

When that happen the car lost power and I have no power loss this time.
I'm headed out right now to pull the Passenger cover and get a look at it.

Re: Squeaking Sound

You sure it's not one of your accessories, like maybe the ac compressor or the alternator?

Re: Squeaking Sound

I had a nasty squeal on a 95 Z a few years back, but it was only when I started it with the A/C on. Turned out it was the belt tensioner about to take a crap
