springs with new shocks?

Im planning on putting in new shocks as my next mod...would it be smart to also put in new springs? Right now i dont know how far i can drop the car, since i have boxed SFC and headers, and am looking for a more comfortable ride as well as performance..... so, with 120K on the current springs, is it advised i should replace them? thanks

I would. I had replace my shocks with Bilstein HD and I hate them. I think they're really wearing out my springs. I have 91xxx on the original springs

With 102k, I would put new springs on at the same time. Only makes sense.

I have no idea how shocks can wear out springs.
