spring with rockers only

can i run crane 10308 kit with stock cam and 1.6rr? i wanna do a nsa 1.6rr pro mag with a stock cam

would i be better going off with lt4 springs, since they are single springs and im guessing lighter and made for small lift and duration?
i really dont plan on doing a cam, ive got another toy for that...

You would be better with the Crane springs, no doubt. The LT4 springs will have to be changed if you ever want to change your cam. The Crane springs are meant to use the stock locators.

i know...im just wondering if it will be too much strain on the lifters and cam and if its worth it...i wont be camming it....so thats outa the question....also with the extra weight of them ect im guessing i should prolly just go with lt4's?

No, it won't stress out the lifters or the cam. People run stock lifters with much more spring than that. The LT4's will be cheaper, but I don't trust them like I do the better designed aftermarket springs. You could at least get some new pushrods, though. Cheap insurance.
