To splice or not to splice???

I bought the Mallory 685 and ordered a wiring harness for it as well. They told me it would atleast be a 2 week wait on the harness. But i want to spray at the track this weekend.

So i was wondering if i should just cancel the order and put it together or wait?

What would you guys do?

Also the 685 came with im guessing a universal harness in the box as well. How hard is it to splice everything to get it hooked up versus waiting 2 weeks for the harness to get here?

I'm not big on the splice. I'd say wait for the harness...

Thats just my thoughts though

Good luck getting it to run right when you splice it in. There are no directions for our distributors, or at least there weren't when we tried to do mine. Save yourself the headache and just wait for the harness, There will always be more track days.
