Interesting... I know I did it a long time ago too, but not sure if it was with a stock tune or if it was with my pcmforless bolt-on tune I had years ago.

Nah you can with a stock tune. She will shift into OD in WOT. An by then ur doing around 130 i belive.

Just to confirm this.....I changed my speedo today and the "misfire" I thought I had happens in 5th gear right at 115mph everytime! Looks like I have a stupid speed limiter!

I have went 120+ with my A4. I have a 110 speedo. I know my limiter SHOULD be right around 120. I did this without a tune.

The only reason why is because when I went to put un a new VSS I had the wrong one. So my speedometer is way slow. I had my friend paste me with '05 Maxima. My 100 was his 130. I'm guessing I have the VSS that's for a different gear. Anyway. it's a nifty little trick, I didn't know until I did it. I just have to keep an eye on my RPM range.
