Special tool for slp header bolts ????
What tool did you guys use to tighten up your slp header bolts that came with the install kit ...
having some major problems.. cant get to em ???
97 z28 with 96/97 slp headers with slp install kit ... them stupid bolts...

I used a 12 point box wrench that I ground down a little so it would fit the ones that were close to the header.

The only two tools you need is a wratching wrench and a 90* offset wrench. With those two tools I did all my bolts. There were a few that are easier from the bottom, but they all can be done from the top with those two tools.

Not the right sizes, don't remember, but I believe that Sears created those tools for the SLP headers.

I used a craftsman pro boxend wrench for some and a 1/4 drive socket for others. The trick is to start them all by finger then tighten each on thill they all pull up together. The first time I install SLP's I got the first and last in and tightened them then tried to do the others it was way harder this way. Had same problems getting the tools past primary tubes.
