Spec stage 3 good clutch?

My centerforce dual fric was junk, and I think Im going to replace it with the spec stage 3. Anyone have an opinion on this clutch? I hope it will hold up to some launching on nittos...more than the centerforce.

Thumbs up Re: Spec stage 3 good clutch?

Yes I love mine. It chatters hard at first but breaks in after a few months. Real firm launches, but still streetable. Strong enough to launch on ET Streets. Stage 4 is same materials but no springs so it's a stronger disk but I hear it drives just the same so I'd go with that one. Mine can throw you back in the seat on every shift. And lately I've been forced to drive it in traffic jams every day but it can do it just fine. I have about 10k miles and 20 track passes so far and it feels great.

yea i had it installed recently at TTperformance and I love it. Its a little bit rough with my cam in traffic but once going its smooth. I would recommend it. Mine chattered a bit when i had it at first but wasnt bad. The price from LM is pretty fair, I got mine a bit cheaper but nothing worth stating.

Go with the stage IV. I've had both and now I'm with IV believe me you will be MUCH happier with the IV
