Opti and plug wire routing

With all the work you are going to be doing, you really need to invest in some sort of manual.

So what is the best manual-performance guide?
I have one more question. I had to exchange opti from my old engine to the new one that I bught from junk year. I take out the old opti and put the new one, but I am not sure that I put it in right position. A friend of mine said that there is only one position that opti can be mounted in. Thanks for all answers shoebox..

Chiltons and the internet together work great.

The absolute best manual is the factory manual, but it is $120 new from http://helminc.com . Getting a used one off the 'net is a better value. Haynes has a manual that is available in most auto parts stores.

Your opti should look like this. The special slot should be installed over the cam dowel. It does not matter where the cam dowel is, as long as that slot goes over it.
