Spark plug wires
Most name brand spiral core wires are good. I've been using the Accel 9000s for 10 years and I like them for the coating on the spark plug boots. I have shorty headers with 1 /34" primaries and things get pretty tight. These wires handle heat very well.
As far as ignition upgrades....I have an MSD and matching coil, but I don't think it really does a whole lot with this ignition, which is pretty "hot" in stock form. There are other upgrades involving the LSI coils and similar conversions, but they, too seem to have some issues. I've always run an ignition amplifier which is why I have one on my car now, but I can't tell you if its worth it, but everything works so I left it alone...I can tell you that my Accel 300 failed after a few years and LPE told me that they have had a large number of failures with that ignition and no longer recommend it...
