Question Spark plug wires

I am changing the wires this week. I know, god help me. I heard the drivers side was easy. On the passenger side I plan on removing the altenator and 1le. Can I access the wires from the top, or is it better from the bottom?

Im in the process of doing them now. I got Number 1 and 3 from top, easiest ones. I got 5 and 7 from bottom.

For 2 and 4 do from top, and 6 and 8 get from bottom...or so this webpage says...he goes more into detail

I just did the driver side, now im going outside right now to do passenger...wish me luck

You guys exaggerate. Plugs and wires are NOT that hard on LT1's. I've only done it twice, and it was cake both times. First time was plugs and wires, routed stock and then the OVCs. But just so ead94z28 knows not to be intimidated and jump in and start the job. Its a cake wake man.

Wires are easy...he wont have a problem with that....unless he has big hands and the passenger side of the opti will be a tad hard to get to, but if he takes off the belt he will figure it out.
Plugs are a bitch to me...well its not that they are HARD, its that it takes alot of time and patience, and the thing thats wearing me down is bending over the car(its lowered 2" so that sucks since im 6'1")...and my knees are KILLING me....All I got left is to put back in #4 plug, and do 6 and 8. Its not that tough once you figure out how to contort your arms to ways they dont usually. Im tall, and have long arms which helps in some parts, and hurts in other. #5 was the biggest bitch for me soo far(from under)...but I got it. All it takes is time patience and perserverence.

You'll be fine.

I did, it took like 5 min, and it gets it outa the way for ya. JUST DONT DROP ONE OF THE BOLTS DOWN INTO THE BOTTOMLESS ABYSS UNDER THE MOTOR...I have dropped one bolt, one spark plug(luckily it was the old one i took out) and one nut from my strut tower brace...now i gotta go get a telescoping magnet to get all that crap back...call me butterfingers
