Spark plug and wire change w/ AS&M headers?
It's time to freshen up the plugs and wires on my '95 TA. I have AS&M headers and it looks like this job is going to be an absolute horror. Please tell me I'm wrong.
Any tips specific to routing wires through and removing plugs around the AS&M's before I dig in? I presume the starter and passenger Y-pipe need to come down to reach #8 and maybe #6.
Any preference for stock length LT1 wires vs cut-to-length wires for use with these headers?
I have stock length Taylors in there now, and they seem to have survived the close quarters and the heat pretty well.
I recently did the plugs and wires on the 93 'hawk with Mac headers and it wasn't all that bad. In fact, I went for the side mount, cut-to-fit, Taylor wires and have excellent header clearance. I'll post pics if anyone is interested.
Thanks for any pointers on the plugs/wires with the AS&M's. It should be fun...
