Spark plug gapping

Hey there! I'm new to the high performance race engines and i was wondering how my 12.5 compression small block will run with .040 spark plug gaps. Planning on turning as high as 7000 rpm.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

What does the ignition system consist of - stock or aftermarket parts? Are you spraying it?
