soundclip of 224/230 cam?

i've been doing a lot of research on different cams, trying to decide which to get. and while i'm not basing my decision on sound alone, i hear some people say that comp cams 224/230 sounds almost stock, and others say it sounds "beefy" or "insane". i've also heard that the hotcam has a nice lope, and i've heard it doesn't...i'm not really interested in getting a hotcam, but i just want to decide for myself..

so anyone have any soundclips of either cam? or any other cam for that matter?

I have a Q about this cam too im planning on using it in my swap.

How much difference between sound and power is there on the 112LSA and 114LSA ?

Thanks

I have a 224/230 on a 114 and it doesn't sound as choppy as the sound clip above. It definitely doesn't sound stock though. I get a lot of comments about it not sounding stock at autocrosses, and I have a fairly quiet exhaust. As far as power of 112 vs. 114 LSA, the 112 is going to make better midrange torque and the 114 is going to pull better off idle and probably be close to the same power up top. My best time at the track is 12.2@113. And it passes an emissions test...

Did you pass on the first try? With what kind of tuning?

Also, what kind of 60' did you pull on that pass at the track?

Yes, passed the first try. Stock part throttle tuning. This is on a two-speed IM240 dyno type test.

That was with a 1.69 60-foot.

I have the same cam but no sound clips. I do believe that the 114LSA will be a little quieter and it will lower the power range of the cam.
