Post Sound Quality!!!!

I would take sound quality over sound VOLUME anyday.... geez running open headers for loudness.... wait till you lose your hearing so you can't enjoy music, ballgames, etc..... BTW what headers with full exhaust pipes, mufflers, sound the best to u?

Re: Sound Quality!!!!

I'm running Pacesetter LTs, no cats, and Flowmaster 80 series. I think it sounds awesome and I get thumbs up all the time.

Re: Sound Quality!!!!

You can't decide by reading the post.. Maybe it would be better if you can hear.
My exhaust setup is SLP shorties, stock pipe and Borla Cat-back.. (no cat)Sounds good..

I had Hooker Long Tube with Mufflex Y-pipe, but my car is lowered by eibach springs, so I hit my headers all the time and change it with SLP shorties..

Mac Shorties, high-flow cat, and borla. I wouldn't have anything else.

Re: Sound Quality!!!!

I'm running stock manifolds, gutted cats, and a TSP Rumbler cat-back. I get compliments on it EVERYWHERE I go.

Re: Sound Quality!!!!

MAC mid headers, bullet muffler in place of cat, and hooker catback. Quiet at idle and cruising, but gives the sweetest deep tone when under load. It's perfect for me, and I've gotten more compliments than I can count. It really is a great setup, with NO popping or raspiness.

Re: Sound Quality!!!!

I'm running a stock(!) muffler along with an electric cutout right behind the cats. It's the best of both worlds... I can have it as loud and mean, or as quiet and civilized as I want. Deleting the cats is not an option for me, due to emissions testing, BTW.

I'm running the setup in sig. Pacesetter LTs w/ Pacesetter ORY fitted with dual cats. mated up to a Magnaflow cat-back. It is quiet and mellow down low and mean up top.
