son of a ***** - tiny hole in side of radiator-- recommendations

tonight when i got home i noticed a bit of coolant on the ground. I looked underneath and a little tiny steady stream of coolant coming down. it stopped. started the car again and more coolant coming down.. i finally found a tiny maybe little bigger than a pin sized hile in the side of the radiator neat the battery. It streams out when i squeeze the radiator hose near the battery. I was thinking some jbweld over the hole, is this a dumb idea? recommendations?

thanks

Drain the coolant and sand the hole. Then some JB weld and let dry overnight.

Go to autozone and get yourself some radiator sealant. I got the copper stuff. It is important to follow the directions on the back. It is time consuming with running the engine and changing coolant, and letting it dry etc. I think it took me about 8 hours or so but it fixed a nice flowing leak. All the copper particles and glue in the **** clog it up.

Man, my radiator is cracked in the same place too. Right under the low coolant sensor. I took the radiator out, cleaned it up and JB welded the hell out of the crack but it still leaks. I'll just make a habit out of topping the radiator up every other day or so.

I wouldnt put that crap in my engine.

You could try the JB but it most likely want hold long(temperary fix).....new stock type radiators arnt that expensive.

Welding isn't gonna work since it is some sort of plastic at the sides of the radiator.
I used some sorta fiberglass epoxy radiator repair stuff i got from Napa and i used JB weld on the inside it worked perfectly.
