Ok i changed my coil the other day and now i have a problem. when i open it up the tack gets up to about 5800 were it needs to shift and then it stays at a high rev and wont shift. then the tack goes down to 4000 and still not shifting till i let off the gas. the problem i was having before this was the car was cutting out at high rpms but know it it just doesnt shift. help please.

it rebult with 12,000 miles on it. i just got it flushed. so im not thinking it is.
