Something to wrap my spark plug wires with

I need something to wrap my spark plug wires with, they are going to be VERY close to my new headers, and need like heat wrap or something...

Napa sells boot covers that cover aboiut 8 inches of the wire starting at the plug boot. Summit and Jegs sell them as well. The boots are made of a fiberglass mat and are almost burn proof, I have only seen them burn when exposed to direct open flame. They also have sleeves that you can put the length of the wire before you build the wire.

Can you put the boots on after the plugs wires are on?

I had the Taylor fire-sleeves, you can get them from thunderracing.....not sure if you can do it after the ends are on but probably

The boot covers you can put on after the plugs are made. Head wrap works but is not as attractive...
