That's where I'm at - I have the car. Scrounging for the LS parts is not that difficult or expensive.

No it isnt. I have a list of parts needed too. The top diagram isnt complete while the bottom one is but it just gives you an idea, so you could actually wire one up from that but most of the wires are the same and itll run an LS1 engine.

Great info Mike! I too have a lot invested in my '95, and have thought about selling it and getting a LS1 based car to drive daily..but a swap is much more cost effective. If I sold the car, I'd probably only get about $5-7k out of it with 100k miles. I know everything suspension wise is fairly new as I've had the car 11 years..I know what I've done..but its still a 100k mile car for a buyer...so with that said, spend around $2500 for an LS1 complete motor, maybe another $2k in some performance goodies for it and freshening it up and I have a good reliable and strong LS1 powered car....or spend an additional $10k to get a nice LS1 based vert...LS1 verts are not selling cheap right now unless they have an ungodly amount of miles on it..and I ain't buying one of those. And besides...I have yet to see an LS1 TA Vert that is red with white interior and white top....so at the current time, my '95 with that color combo is irreplacable!

I'd be glad to host your PDF's for free on zmydust.com.

Just email 'em to me and I can upload them for you... or i can create an FTP account for you if you'd like. Let me know.

There are lots of factors.
Some people also would just like the challenge of doing something different and interresting
