someone help lt1 problem

I just got a mail order tune last week. Prior to that, I had some custom tune from the guy who installed my rear gears. When I had my old tune, I could roast the tires from a stop, through part of second gear. Now with my new tune, I cant even spin em. My car feels very weak. I now have a small miss as well. My idle used to be around 750-800 rpm. It is now around 500 rpm. Idk if that could have something to do with it. My question is was the tune messed up, or did my car coinscidentaly develop this problem right after I got the tune. Anyone else have this problem after a mail order tune?

why would you get a mail order tune after having a custom tune?

Either way. From what I've experienced if everything was fine and you change 1 thing and things go down hill. Its usually the thing you just changed. Not that it necessarly is the problem, but it usually is.

The tune I had was for speedo calibration, and shiftpoints for my rear. He told me I should get a mail order tune. I also had ses light from deleting air, and egr. I was thinking that b/c the idle was lowered to 500, that the throttle response wasnt as good, but I remember when I was stock, I could do burnouts no problem, with around the same idle rpms. I know it sounds stupid saying I cant spin the tires, but its true

Put the old tune back in and see if it goes away.

tuner hasnt emailed me back yet. I checked the car again today. When it is first started, and before it warms up, it runs great, no miss, but after it warms, and sensors start workin, it begins to miss. I checked this before, w/ my old tune, and didnt miss even with sensors workin, so its gotta be the tune

alright. I checked it last night. There is some nasty spark, or arcing on the coil, and everywhere the otvc plugwires contact the valve covers.does this mean I need a new coil? (just put new msd in couple of months ago, along with opti, plugs, and wires) The car still doesnt missfire until the sensors start working. What does this mean?

I would wait till you tested it out again with the "old" tune before you start adding more variables. Once you have eliminated the tune as a possible problem then work on the others.

Well that just me. I just like to work 1 problem at a time.
