i still cant decide, whenever i do decide on one, i go back neutral.

im leaning more to the stock one, for the reasons being that, it wont just suddenly die, and i wont have to always worry about it?

someone convince me to go with the electric.

I love my electric, it's rated for two thousand hours and I have driven over 20,000 miles on mine with no problems. The trick to keeping it from having problems is to wire it right.

Things like this seem to happen too easily to people.

seems like a hit or miss thing to me. some people swear by them, yet some have problems the first week they have em. but hell i have no problems with an electric fuel pump lol. seems like the design of the pump is flawed in some way for them to just stop unlike the fuel pump.

after all the bull**** ive been through, i dont think that i can deal with losing a head gasket, id probably set my car on fire.

stock for me. shoebox, have we ever found out the correct way to get that bastard WP seal on?

IMO it doesn't seem to be worth the possibility of problems in that area to pick up a few HP.

I agree. After all the problems I had with my cooling system last year, I personally will never go electric and risk any problems. Thats just me though.

FWIW, after having an electric waterpump, I would NEVER go with one again unless I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY have to.

PRO:
Up to 10 hp?
Ease of service once wp housing is retrofitted

Con:
If I already make ~300 will I notice another 10?
If the electric quits without going noticed the cost could run into $1000.00 X 2? 3?

My decision: Stock. Too much risk for too little gain. I don't really need to extra 10 hp, but I sure could use the extra 1-3K on other mods.

YMMV

Its a no brainer STOCK. Unless your car is track only. Why does it matter? I have 450+rwhp and stock WP. Not like EWP its going to give you 50 magical hp. Stock is stock and reliable enough. Make your choice.
