anyone ever hear anything like this? i feel like its narrowed down to waterpump or.. i dunno what else could possibly do this. Mind you i took the belt off and its still doing it

 

If it sounds exactly the same with no belt, I'd say it's most likely the water pump....don't drive it, if the pump lets loose, not only will you be stuck somewhere, but it may soak your Opti, more $$ then. If you don't have a mechanics stethoscope, get a 2 foot piece of hose, put one end in your ear, the other end behind the water pump...move the hose around; it will become obvious where the problem lies. could be opti bearing to though.... I know i had o replace my opti because the bearing seized....
