so i went to the tracks and i got 45 psi at 6k rpm. that is kinda on the low side. just for kicks and giggles, i bought a new oil pressure sensor. i installed it and as soon as i started the car it went to 60psi on a cold start. so i was never having low oil pressure to begin with. it was just the sensor. it was giving a wrong reading. so if anyone is getting low pressure i'd definately change the sensor to see if you really are getting low pressure.
