Its not really the power level , but the spring pressure and RPMs.
If youre running 400 plus pounds of spring pressure (open) then the Hyd rollers may not like it much.

Solid rollers require essentially a complete valve train change, from the cam to the springs. Then you will be faced with periodic (~6,000 miles) lashing of the valves. The noise from the solid rollers will interfere with your knock sensor to the extent that it becomes useless. Some solid roller lifters do not lubricate well it low RPM. Probably the only reason you would want to think about them is if you plan to run the engine over 7,000rpm or you are getting up in the range of 250deg durations and 0.600+" lift.
