Can I install a pre LT1 solid roller in my 94 lt1?

I am not sure I understand your question correctly, but I'll take a stab at it. The nose of the cam for an LT1 is different due to the provision for the Optispark (drive pin and dowel hole). Even though the dimensions of the cam, firing order, and journals are the same in a gen I and gen II SBC, the cams are therefore not interchangable.
