Angry How to measure head to intake angle???

I am having issues with oil getting into the intake and Head runners and I think the angles are off on the bottom side of the intake where it matches the head. Does anyone know the best way and what tool to use when measuring the 2 angles. I have tried Feeler gauges but its to hard with only 2 hands. The heads were angle milled from 76cc to 60cc and they also cut the intake side to match but I believe the angle is still wrong....

Any suggestions

You need a protractor. Get one from Sears (Craftsman) or look around on Ebay to see what you can find. The "bevel" type are real nice for measuring angles off of flat surfaces but the 1º incremented steel rule type will work just fine too.

Set the protractor on the manifold face of the engine block (the face that's parallel to the oil pan rails) and lock the protractor in place once you have it flush against the intake face of the cylinder head.
Now compare the protractor measurement (or leave it locked in place) to your intake manifold.

A slight angular mismatch shouldn't cause too much fuss as long as you use a good bead of silicone. Hard to say how much "too much" is though. Should be obvious if there's a real problem though.

Let us know what you find.

Quick way, and less expensive, is to trial assemble/match up the mating components. Easy to see any mismatch. However, as noted, understanding how much, is 'too much' discrepency, to get by, is as much of an issue.
