solid motor

what would i need to do to make my 96 lt1 a solid roller would ineed to use an electric water pump and remove all the gear driven stuff

You can run a solid roller camshaft with the stock water pump. I use the LT4 Extreme Duty timing set. I've seen the same setup support 1,125HP on an 8,000RPM solid roller 383 running 20+# of boost.
