soft shift
Re: soft shift
A larger TB should be accomapnied by programming for it because they will soften part throttle shifts unless the tranny has been modified to take away computer control of the shift.
I would be the TB in question is an aftermarket one and the TPS needs to be adjusted that is where the shift point problem is coming from. Guessing you have a mostly stock car?? If so the TB is doing next to nothing for you take it off till you can get the tune and learn how to and have the equipment to adjust the TPS. You need to set the closed throttle voltage to .50-.75 by playing with the TPS and maybe slotting the mounting holes. Might have to drill an IAC bypass for it too this works much better than cracking the blades.
