Don't get me wrong, I don't think the Borla or others are bad systems...I just happened to get some performance out of mine. Heck, my Z may do better than that if I get rid of the flowmaster.

I just wanted to make sure that we are pointing Danny in the area of deep sound...not loud....but deep, because that is what he requested. Although, I'm sure he wouldn't mind some flow too.

I'll second that. Here is a video/soundclip of my B4C starting the Roadrunner Open Road Race a month ago.... lotsa positive comments on the exhaust note. Click the first video link.

Yes, the flowmaster does sound good with a deep rumble and I am sure they are decent performing but there is better and also stainless exhausts. The flowmaster car's I have been in also had alot of interior resonance.

GMMG is one of the best IMO. But there are still good sounding lower priced ones out there.

That actually brings up another question on mufflers. Has anybody here heard a DynoMax Super Turbo muffler on a LT1?

Long ago, when I had my '96 3.8 V6, I got a muffler system from RK Sport for that car. It came with a DynoMax Super Turbo muffler. That thing sounded like a small V8 when I got it on!!! No joke. Best sound I've ever heard from a 3.8 V6. I've heard Flowmasters on a 3.8 and they sounded horrible(not sure on the series though). That Super Turbo really sounded good and deep on a 3.8. I've always wondered how it would sound on an LT1.

Yes, but they seem quieter like a Hooker if I remember correctly.

Crazy Brits. They exceeded their tech speed when they saw they were gaining in the C6. I think they were in the 100mph class. Almost passed the Vette.
