So I've decided that camshafts tick me off.

I have to admit that the sound is MOSTLY what I'm going after. It WILL have the supporting mods to go along with it, but if I wanted it to sound stock and go fast, I would have bought an LS1.

Personally, I don't see the problem with that mindset. I won't be racing it all the time, but when I do it should perform well.

see.... now your contradicting yourself, first you said you were not worried about the performance you just wanted it to lope and sound good, now your saying you want it to perform good, you pretty much have to pick one

if you get a cam that is too big for your setup it will sound good, but it wont perform well
