is snapping the rear a REAL concern with the xe 230/236?

can a stock rear hold that much? it would be used in a auto with a max of a 2800 stall.

it can handle a solid roller big block

it cant handle slicks

you can tear up the stock rear end with a bone stock motor...all depends on how lucky you are and how well you maintain your rear end.

M6's are way harder on the rear than A4's, but I know plenty of A4 folks that have torn their rears up..I also know people running their stock 10 bolts well into the 11's with really nice 60' times...

I think i am having trouble understanding why your cam has anything to do with snapping your rear.

I think it's more in reference to the added power from the cam.

you should be fine, my friend cuts 1.5's on his stock rear end with slicks and 373's. thats on a heads/cam ls1 390hp 410 torque. his 4400 stall is pretty sweet.
